It looks like we’ve got yet another game to add to Miku’s growing library of portable apps, and this one comes as a Hatsune Miku remake of an older game titled “Music Girl“, released by W Rock Games. The new app was co-developed with SEGA and Marza Animation Planet Inc, the same company who did the animation work for the first two Project Diva Games. So we’ve got a nice product coming from several experienced companies.

The new app features Hatsune Miku of course, who idles in rooms while waiting for you to play music. Doing so earns communication points, at which Miku will start to ask some quiz questions. Answering correctly helps lift her mood and increase her affection towards the player. You also earn items from Miku as gifts as you do better.

The application is available for free, but only on the Japanese iTunes app store for now. But despite this, it can still be downloaded without a credit card. All you need is a Japanese iTunes account. With the success of Miku Flick, hopefully they’ll consider a translated international release. The game does have in-app purchase options for additional outfits for 350 JPY each, but only the Spring outfit is released so far. The Summer and Fall outfits are due to be released at a later date.

To view the app’s official site, click the banner above. To view the iTunes listing, just click here. Thank you to Salanos and Vocaloidism for the info.

It was announced two days ago that the Yukata Ver. Nendoroid would be sold at the Hakkeijima Event Hall during the 39’s Caravan event, and it also said it would be available for online orders in September. But what it didn’t make clear is that they will also be taking international orders. This means that anyone can buy it.

As mentioned, the nendo will include three different facial expressions, as well as a fan and carrying pouch accessory. The price will be set at 3000 Yen ($38 USD) and shipping will likely be 2000 Yen for international orders. However, the shipping price stays the same for multiple orders. This means you can save a nice amount if you order more than one (such as for a friend, etc).

Pre-orders will open in September, and you can view the page with full size images and details by clicking the image above, or by clicking here. This definitely has to be one of the prettiest nendoroids I’ve ever seen, don’t you agree?

It’s been to every corner of the internet and back by now, but I’m a person who likes to respect the rights of artists. I did not want to make a post about this PV until it got an official release by Sony themselves, and it has finally happened.

The following PV is for the song “ODDS&ENDS” that was created by ryo(supercell) for use in both Project Diva F, and in celebration of Miku’s upcoming 5th birthday. It’s really cute and very emotional, especially towards the end. I’ve seen a few people make references to the movie Wall-E, and a few others have also made mention of scarily similar references to the anime series “Clannad”.

Whatever the case, please enjoy this OFFICIAL print directly from Sony’s youtube channel. You can also find an English translation here.

Man, this is shaping up to be a VERY busy month.

In addition to all of the other announcements in regards to Miku’s 5th anniversary, Family Mart has announced their participation in yet another event. With all of these events and announcements going on, it’s becoming almost impossible to keep track of each one.

The “Miku Loves FamiMa” campaign is a special event running from today (August 14th in Japan) until September 10th (Japan time). To participate, you simply need to buy 500 yen or more in select goods from the store, many of which are themed after Miku herself (one product even featuring official art from Zaneeds). Doing so will result in a chance to win various prizes such as prepaid cards (1,000 winners), Miku themed MP3 players (100 winners), and a grand prize featuring a Hatsune Miku decorated electric scooter (1 winner).

To help promote the event, Family Mart has released several commercials. There’s the main commercial itself, which shows Miku happily marching through Family Mart while singing what sounds like the store’s theme song. In addition, there are two hilarious blooper videos that feature scenes from the “filming” of the commercial. To check out the official Family Mart site for the event, just click the image above, or click here. And enjoy the videos!

Sorry I’m late with this one, I was quite busy yesterday.

Less than a month after the announcement of Miku Flick 2, SEGA has released the game on the international iTunes store. The launch price is 900 Yen, or $11 USD on the US store. The application is also available in many other regions, so just search your own local online store.

As expected, the game comes with 10 songs, with 9 of them being confirmed while the 10th remains an unlockable mystery. But there’s a new feature with this game: In-App Downloadable Content. There are two packs you can download that add 3 additional songs to the game. The price is $5 USD per pack. There’s the Diva Pack that adds three additional Hatsune Miku tracks, and the Duet Pack that adds three additional tracks featuring two Vocaloids.

Diva pack list:

Kocchi Muite Baby
Yellow
Colorful x Melody

Duet Pack list:

Cantarella
Gemini
Colorful x Sexy

The game works with the iPhone 3GS or newer, iPod Touch 3rd gen or newer, and all iPad versions. Now, to see about trying to get one of these devices…
