The two nights of the Hatsune Miku Galaxy Live 2020 VR event have concluded, and it was a spectacular event to watch! The visuals and music selection were great, and we’re incredibly grateful that such an event was made available for free. It was a 45 minute long performance spanning various planets across the virtual galaxy. The live featured 8 songs, which felt just right for a VR Live event (you need to let your eyes rest!).

If you’d like to recap the playlist, here’s the songs featured in the event:

1: Mizuiro Shinryaku by Nayutalien
2: World is Mine by Ryo(Supercell)
3: Violence Trigger by HachiojiP
4: MACARON by ATOLS
5: Bitter Chocolate Decoration by syudou
6: HIBANA by DECO*27
7: Sekai no Man’naka wo Aruku by Natsushiro Takaaki
8: Tell Your World by kz

The end of the live event also teased two somewhat mysterious announcements:

– Miku World 2021
– Miku Galaxy Live Japan 2021… And then the world!

Let’s have some fun speculating what these events could be! Is Miku World 2021 going to be some kind of theme park collaboration? Is Miku Galaxy Live going to be the name of some new concert event, or will it finally replace the outdated “Miku Expo” naming scheme? We’re excited to see what these announcements will bring for the future!

The dancing fairy…
From the Hatsune Miku live event that takes place in China, “MIKU WITH YOU”, comes a Nendoroid of Hatsune Miku based on the 2019 main visual illustration! Using the main visual illustration by Zhibujiloom and the sub visual illustration by Fengye as a base, Miku’s innocent charm has been brought into Nendoroid form.
She comes with three face plates including a standard expression, a smiling expression and a winking expression. Her ballerina-like outfit has been faithfully recreated in Nendoroid form. She comes with a microphone, the panda Takene and a background plate as optional parts. Be sure to add her to your collection!

The Nendoroid will be available for preorder from Good Smile Company’s online shop for 5500 JPY ($53), and will accept reservations until November 12th, 2020. She’s expected to ship out in April 2021. You can also find here from these other online stores!

Goodsmile Racing finishes in 9th position at the fourth round of Super GT at the Twin Ring Motegi. Qualifying on the previous day was split into two groups in GT300. The second group would be unlucky as rain poured down onto the track and the #4 Hatsune Miku AMG who was part of the second group were eliminated in the first session placing 18th for the start of the race.

The race started off clean until the #87 JLOC Lamborghini Huracan side-swiped the #8 ARTA NSX causing the former to spin off the track and collide with the #19 WedsSport Supra. The safety car was deployed to clear the cars and debris off the track. Another collision shortly followed during the safety car with the #7 Studie BMW M6 driving into the back of the #22 R’Qs AMG forcing both to retire from the race. The race restarted on the 15th lap.

The safety car would then be deployed again on the 46th lap when the teammates of the #36 au TOM’s and #37 Keeper TOM’s collided leaving debris on the track. It was back to racing on the 51st lap.

The race ended after 63 laps with the #17 KEIHIN NSX taking their second win this season in GT500 followed by the #65 Leon AMG winning in GT300. The #4 Miku AMG crossed the finish line in 10th place but was moved up to 9th position after the #56 Realize GT-R was given a 30 second time penalty post-race due to an infraction during their pit stop.

With only 2 points scored, Goodsmile Racing now stands 15th in the drivers’ standing as we are now halfway through the Super GT season. The team has got a lot of catching up to do if they want to be fighting for the championship.

The next race will be back at Fuji Speedway for the third time this season on the 3rd and 4th of October.

The full race can be seen on The Race YouTube channel:
