Hatsune Miku: Magical Mirai 2017 song contest!

Crypton Future Media has announced Hatsune Miku: Magical Mirai 2017 song contest as of today. Fans are invited to take the rare opportunity to have their songs performed at Magical Mirai, the biggest and most recognized Hatsune Miku concert & exhibition event held in Japan!

Grand Prix prize (1 person)

  • Hatsune Miku will sing your song at Magical Mirai 2017!
  • A pair ticket for Magical Mirai 2017 as well as special goods
  • SONICWIRE gift certificate (100,000 JPY)

Semi-Grand Prix prize (not limited to 1 person)

  • SONICWIRE gift certificate (30,000 JPY)

Recruitment period will begin on February 3rd at 17:00 JST with further details regarding the contest to follow on the same date. The deadline for song submissions will be on April 3rd at 17:00 JST.

UPDATE: The song contest has begun on Piapro! In celebration of the announcement, a trial version of Hatsune Miku V4x has been made available on SONICWIRE for a limited time of 39 days! Rules to consider are as follow:

  • Submissions must have vocals created in Hatsune Miku vocal software only.
  • Submissions must be under 4 minutes and 30 seconds in length, in any genre.
  • Submissions must be original, unreleased works not tied to any publishers, independent contracts, or management groups.
  • Submissions must be uploaded with the tag “マジカルミライ２０１７＿楽曲” (copy and paste without quotes). Please be very sure to lock the tag.

Hatsune Miku Expo Song Contest Winners Announced

The winners of the Hatsune Miku Expo song contest have finally been announced! First up on the list is the grand prize winner, Circus-P for his song “Ten Thousand Stars”! The grand prize includes 30,000 Yen in products from Sonicwire, tickets to a location where the song will be performed, as well as his song being featured at one (or more) of the concerts in North America!




There are also two runner-ups, who have won 20,000 Yen in products from Sonicwire for their contributions. These include “Together, Make The Magic!” by Xyao-Ming, and “Constellation” by ϕrkestrate.

Lastly, there are two honorable mention winners. While there was no prize for getting an honorble mention, they were still note-worthy entries. These honorable mentions include “ALL IS MUSIC!” by YZYX, and “MikuMambo” by AlexTrip Sands.

Hatsune Miku Expo Song Contest Now Open, Accepting All Languages

Crypton Future Media has announced today the Hatsune Miku Expo song contest, in search for original tracks to perform at a future Hatsune Miku Expo concert. Fans are invited to participate in the song submissions starting now on Soundcloud.

In celebration of the announcement, a two-week trial version of Hatsune Miku V3 English will be available for free on SONICWIRE. The followings below are essential rules to consider for song submissions:

  • Make sure your submission(s) includes a song title and lyrics in the track description
  • Disable downloads via Soundcloud
  • Submit your song to the Hatsune Miku Expo Song Contest Soundcloud group.

The grand winner will be rewarded with 100,000 JPY worth of products from SONICWIRE and a pair of tickets to Hatsune Miku Expo concert where the winning entry will be performed. Furthermore, the winner will have an opportunity to take a commemorative photo with Hatsune Miku on stage (does not cover travel expenses).

Among other participants, two runner-ups will be chosen and presented with 30,000 JPY worth of products from SONICWIRE. Fans are more than welcome to submit songs in any languages they prefer.

The contest opens now up to October 19th. We look forward to hear songs from fans around the world, and to the next location of Hatsune Miku Expo. Now is your chance to take your song around the world!
